This 5 Days Uganda Mountain Hiking Safari to Mount Elgon the Highest Peak, shall take two different trails and we shall Hike from Tutume, Kajeri, Mude…We shall be sleeping at Mude Camp for two nights and on the fourth day we shall be hiking to the summit so you will need to have enough Rest to gain enough energy. This will not be a circle circuit because we shall be coming out of the mountain after spending two nights at Mude Camp.

    Day 1: Transfer to Mt. Elgon starting point in Kween district, start hiking up to the autumn cave

    First day Transfer from Kampala very early in the morning at around 5 am we shall reach around 11 am, relax have lunch then start the Hiking. Hike for probably 5 hours set off at 1 pm after lunch. To Tutume Cave. Arrive at the camp at 5 pm and enjoy the cave experience campfire and rest.

    Day 2 of 5 Days Uganda Mountain Hiking Safari: Breakfast in the Morning and Set off to the next camp (Kajeri Camp)

    On the second day, Breakfast in the morning set off at half-Past 8 am. To the next camp (Kajeri camp) the hike would take roughly 7-8 hours. The Journey would make us encounter birds, rear a few species of animals like antelopes, and have lunch either hot lunch or packed. At this point will be heading to low temperatures, to an altitude of 300 meters above sea level, arriving setting the tents, enjoying the sunset campfire, having dinner, and resting.

    Day 3: This is the longest day of the trip and it will involve hiking Up to Mude Camp.

    The third day is the longest day of the trip, it involves passing through Mooreland, to some of the most iconic Valleys, and the most beautiful Caldera, Mude Caves, arriving at camp knows Mude-Camp setting our tents, and then having a campfire, hot tea/Coffee this camp as well as cold we require you to be on you Stocks put on warm clothes. Dinner time, and rest.

    Day 4 of 5 Days Uganda Mountain Hiking Safari: Head to the summit to an elevation of 4321 meters above sea level

    The fourth day is the day we head to the summit to an elevation of 4321 meters above sea level, passing through the Jackson pool, Peak, and the Gorge, as we head to the summit. And back this is the day we will be hiking about 18Kilometers in total going and coming back to the camp. We will have lunch at the Jackson pool on our way back from the summit.

    And then head to the camp, we will be welcomed by the campfire and some hot water, coffee, and tea as well as relaxing to watch the sunset.

    Day 5: Heading out and having a break at the wall of death viewpoint snack point.

    The fifth day, is the last day of the trip in the mountains, long but amazing day, heading out and having a break at the wall of death viewpoint snack point, as we head to the point where the Boda-Bodas will peak you from, to the lunch point, have lunch and stay bye to the posters and their entire persons and transfer to Kampala.

    NOTE: Make sure you carry along with some tablets, on our first day will be drinking the carried water and the rest will be boiled water. Till the last day.
